Hey there! 👋
I'm Anum, a Product Designer.

As a child, I’ve loved problem solving. Luckily, I do that for a living now.

I started my journey in Computer Science but found solace in design when I took an HCI class. I admire how much of an impact smart design choices can make in people’s life and I decided to be a small part of what makes them happy.

I've led 15+ design and SaaS projects with cross-functional teams in multiple industries including FinTech, eCommerce, EdTech, Employment Platforms, Assistive Tech, and Social Impact.

Outside of work, I love to indulge in casual digital art, surround myself with pretty stationery and cool tech gadgets, and make hand-crafted cards for my loved ones.

Fun fact: I love interpreting art. I'm standing right outside Niyo Art Gallery, located in Kigali, Rwanda.

One can never learn “too much”. When I’m not working, you can find me scrolling through Medium, taking courses on Skillshare and Coursera, listening to podcasts or engaging with fellow designers in communities.

💬 Communication is your best friend

Don’t assume. Talk it out. I’m big on being transparent about my process, my beliefs and opinions. I make it a point to proactively update my clients, engage in discussions and keep them as involved as they like.
