I facilitated a Design Thinking 101 workshop for
undergraduate students. I explained the need for
intuitive design, gave an overview of the 6 stages
of a design thinking cycle, provided a list of
tools, resources and tips based on my personal
experience. The session ended with an
interactive brainstorming session
on Mural.
I was craving pizza one day, so I made myself a
0-calorie one. 🍕
On a serious note, I enjoy playing with shadows and
highlights on Adobe Illustrator and that’s how I
ended up designing this cheesy slice of heaven. View artwork.
To all the girls out there: who needs guys when you
can have fresh, crispy fries?
I designed this retro, neon-style graphic for a
foodie’s unwritten law of food > boyfriends. It was
designed as a joke and is not meant to be used
offensively against anyone. View artwork.
Surrounding oneself with nature is something I feel
is essential for everyone.
To express my love for mountaineous regions and
nature in general, I designed this landscape on
Adobe Photoshop with a variety of brushes, textures
and tones. View artwork.
I designed a poster to appreciate determination and
tolerance of women in patriarchal societies,
especially in Pakistan.
The woman in the poster is surrounded by some of the
most common labels society puts on her. However, she
is motivated to keep trying. The hand at the upper
right corner is designed as a metaphor of
opportunities that can pull her out of the stigmas
society associates her with. For details, visit

An alarming number of pets are abandoned per year.
To cater to this, I brainstormed for an idea to
design an app for an Animal Shelter.
The app allows the organization to post profiles of
pets for adoption. It also allows citizens to report
animals in danger via a single click, contact vets,
adopt pets and donate. View image.
I participated in a panel talk on Designing Portfolios a while ago.
What I covered in the talk was challenges surrounding creation of a portfolio and how to mitigate them, what should go into a portfolio, how one should design one and how it can be made less painful.
One of my suggestions in the session was to document weekly while working on a project what you did that week and attach relevant links and pictures - THAT alone can help SO much when one sits down to create their portfolio months later. View Linkedin Post.
I delivered a talk at a society orientation at LUMS about the difference between good and bad design.
I explained the significance of design to freshmen students, gave real life examples of where design failed, even some from our university itself.
Towards the end of the session, the audience was super interested in learning more and requested for more workshops and lectures about design.
I, along with my society members in university arranged a beginner-friendly design challenge called Inova. It aimed to foster innovative design thinking in students to solve problems.
30+ students from O / A levels participated in the competition.

I delivered a talk on how Self Reflection can change one’s life during a company-wide session called “Wonder Wednesday”.
In this talk, I talk about what it means to reflect on ourselves, its importance, what happens when one doesn’t do it. I ended the session with sharing my self reflection routine, journals I use, and important questions one can ask themselves to get started. Listen to my talk here.
